We pointed out this years back that subsidies and/or basic Income should be considered based on the mismatch in sizes between labor force and population trend lines over the years, especially if we were to go the automation route.

This certainly would also be a wiser option rather than creating convoluted "Where is the Bee" businesses, and business models catering to a selected few.
